We are an amateur choir of around fifty singers, drawing our membership from the villages in the valley of the River Endrick in Stirlingshire, Scotland – Killearn, Balfron, Kippen, Fintry, Buchlyvie, Drymen, Gartmore, Blanefield, Aberfoyle and further afield. The chief reason for the choir’s existence is that we gain so much pleasure from singing. We love getting to know and understand great musical works and performing them for our audience to hear and enjoy.

Known mainly for our classical repertoire, the Singers has performed major works by Mozart, Bach, Handel, Vivaldi, Haydn, Rossini, Beethoven, and Fauré.  More recently, more contemporary works have been tackled with critical success include the Scottish Premiere of Ola Gjeilo’s Sunrise Mass; Morten Lauridsen’s Lux Aeterna; Karl Jenkins’ The Armed Man: A Mass for Peace and works by John Rutter and Howard Goodall.

Our ever-popular Christmas Carol Concerts, held in Killearn and neighbouring villages, attract large audiences and give us a chance to sing a wide variety of seasonal pieces from home and abroad.
